Influential Minds using Artemis HPC

Four Artemis users were amongst the seven University of Sydney researchers named as Highly Cited Researchers of 2017. Professors Edward Holmes, Dacheng Tao, Manfred Lenzen and Alex McBratney were determined to be amongst the most influential researchers worldwide over the years 2005-2015.

Clarivate Analytics, an investment analytics and patent company, and the maintainers of the Web Of Science publication database, produces the list yearly, focusing on published papers ranked in the top 1% by citations for their field and publication year. Read more about their methodology.

Professor Tao was also one of only 147 awardees to make the list in two fields: computer science and engineering. Closer to home, postdoctoral fellow Brendan Malone’s work with Professor McBratney into digital soil mapping was the recipient of last quarter’s Artemis HPC Publication Prize – check out their paper here.
