eNotebook Mobile App

LabArchives is a web-based platform and can be accessed from any web browser on any mobile device. Just go to the Login page directly in your prefered mobile device browser.

A LabArchives mobile App is also available on both Android and iOS systems, with set up instructions below.

Android

  1. First, download the LabArchives Android app from the Play Store.
  2. Once downloaded, open the app and you will be directed to settings
  3. Select your server location: “Australia and New Zealand”
  4. You can also change the setting for:
  5. The other settings allows you to activate:
    • Autologin (“On” - will prevent you from needing to repeat this process. NOT recommended if you share a device)
    • The ability to use “Google Docs for PDF files” (NOT recommended to manage your research data - default “OFF”)
    • Receive Notifications
    • Include students notebooks (for instructors) in your list of notebooks.
  6. Login - choose the “Institutional Login”
  7. Select “University of Sydney”
  8. Enter your Unikey and password

iOS

  1. First, download the LabArchives iOS app from the Apple iTunes store.
  2. Once downloaded, open the app and you will be directed to settings
  3. Set USER LOCATION (API URL) to: “Australia and New Zealand”
  4. You can also change the setting for:
  5. The other settings allows you to activate:
    • Autologin (“On” - will prevent you from needing to repeat this process. NOT recommended if you share a device)
    • Custom server (allows you to add the URL to a custom server - choose “OFF”)
    • Receive Notifications
    • Include students notebooks (for instructors) in your list of notebooks.
  6. Login - choose the “Login through your institution”
  7. Select “University of Sydney”
  8. Enter your Unikey and password
