Facilities Access Scheme

The Core Research Facilities User Access Scheme has been developed in order to invest in and drive research excellence across the University by providing small grants to support user access to the facilities. Each Core Research Facility (including the Sydney Informatics Hub) has a total of $50,000 to award to winning applicants to spend on Core Facility services. The scheme allocation must be redeemed in the calendar year in which it is granted.

Sydney University researchers can apply for dedicated resources beyond the Sydney Informatics Hub standard offering (see below for our services and their approximate rates). To apply for the grant, check the guidelines for applicants to see if you are eligible and complete the application form for the Core Research Facility Access Scheme.

Applicants should also discuss their needs and request quotes for services before applying, by contacting sih.info@sydney.edu.au.
