National Computational Merit Allocation Scheme 2020

The National Computational Merit Allocation Scheme (NCMAS) opens 2nd August, 2019. NCMAS enables groups to access National High Performance Computing infrastructure at no cost to researchers.

Eligibility criteria and application requirements are strict, including the need for preliminary results generated on the platform being applied for. The Sydney Informatics Hub (SIH) are providing assistance to University of Sydney researchers with preparing their applications and preliminary results for NCMAS.

SIH will be hosting information sessions to present an overview of what these requirements are and how SIH can assist researchers in meeting them to promote a successful outcome. We will also provide an overview of other researcher computing services available to University of Sydney researchers.

Researchers whose computational needs for 2020 will exceed that provided by Artemis HPC are encouraged to attend.
