SIH research engineer wins ANZICS Datathon

Congrats to David Kohn from SIH and the rest of the #Circadian rhythm team for sharing victory at the ANZICS (Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society) Datathon last month!

David and his teammates explored the presence of circadian rhythm oscillations in data recorded from patients in ICU. Whether these rhythms are present and what their presentation might reveal are of keen interest to ICU physicians.

If you’re interested in practicing your problem solving, teamwork and coding skills, all under the pressure of limited time, and all for great causes (or prizes!), have a look for upcoming hackathons around Sydney and Australia in the Disruptor’s Handbook. And if you’re a University of Sydney student or staff member, be sure to let us know how you go!
